Did you know?

Over 182 children under the age of 12 took part in the 2023 Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History - raising over $100,000?! They participated and fundraised to help our CF community go further. They’re all fundraising superheroes!

This passion and dedication from our youngest fundraisers is why we are excited to announce – new for 2024 – the Walk Jr. Superhero Club. It’s a fundraising program for children taking part in the 2024 Walk, helping kids put the FUN in Fundraising in their local community.

What is the Walk Junior Superhero Club?

We want to recognize the amazing, dedicated children who, on their own or with their family, do all they can to raise funds to  help lengthen and improve the lives of Canadians with CF.

When children aged 12 or under are registered to participate in the 2024 Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History, they become fundraising heroes!

Kids! We’ve compiled some very cool tools, tips and opportunities to help you become a fundraising superhero!

Children who register for the 2024 Walk can participate in fun activities, get the latest scoop on fundraising tips and tricks, and have the chance to win awesome prizes.

How does my child sign up?

Signing up is easy, and you can do so in one of two ways:

If your child would like a fundraising page:

If your child wants to be a fundraising superhero and have their own fundraising page, you can register them during your registration process, but they must have a unique email address to be registered.

Please note, when you (the adult) are registering, do not count the child/ren that have their own fundraising page in the “how many child/ren are you bringing”. Also, the Walk Jr. contest is online only, therefore if they would like to participate they must have their own fundraising page to be eligible.

If your child does not need a fundraising page:

When you (the adult) are registering, click the button to say you are bringing a child/ren and indicate how many. Once you are registered – you can download the ‘Walk Jr. Fundraising Guide’ from your participant guide or visit the Walk Jr. Resources page to download a copy of the pack.

All children attending an in-person event will benefit from all the fun and activities of the Walk Jr. Superhero Club (whether or not they have a fundraising page).

Please note, for a child to be eligible for the fundraising contest they must have their own fundraising page, as this is an online contest only.
