The Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History takes place at over 40 locations in Canada, and we rely on the energy, passion and skill of our generous volunteers to help make a difference in communities from coast-to-coast. Whether you have a few hours to spare on Walk Day (May 26, 2024) or have a few hours a week in the months leading up to the Walk, we want to hear from you.

  • How do I become a volunteer?

    The first step is to contact us. Reach out now.

  • Do I need to have previous volunteer experience with Cystic Fibrosis Canada to volunteer for the Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History?

    No previous volunteer experience is required. We always welcome first-time volunteers looking to make an impact and experience the magic of Walk Day.

  • Are there age requirements to volunteer?

    You must be 14 years and older to volunteer at the Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History. Often leadership role volunteer positions have an age restriction (18 and over) and will be designated to more senior volunteers.  

  • I need hours for school/work – can you provide a letter?

    Yes. The Walk volunteer coordinator will be able to sign any documentation needed for volunteer hours and a Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History letter can be provided upon request.
