Cystic Fibrosis Canada is encouraging a friendly fundraising competition among clinicians and researchers for the Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History! As researchers and clinicians, your work fuels the hope that drives our community forward. By joining us on Walk Day, you have the opportunity to connect that science and care directly to the people whose lives you impact every day. With over 40 walk locations across Canada, you’ll be participating in powerful moment of connection across our community. If there is no Walk location near you, we have a virtual walk you can sign up to and walk on May 31 anywhere you would like with your team.

How:
Register your team at walk.cysticfibrosis.ca
- Include your clinic or lab name in your team name (team names can be fun and pun-tastic, as long as it still includes the clinic/lab name)
- Indicate that you are a CF professional during registration
Set a fundraising goal and track your progress. Use our fundraising tools to help you raise more.
Join us on Walk Day to celebrate together! Our CF community is genuinely excited to meet the experts behind the breakthroughs they fund, and to see the dedicated clinic teams who support them throughout their journey. Your presence strengthens the bond between research, care, and lived experience — and it reminds families why they walk, year after year.
Prizes to be won
Top fundraising clinic or lab teams will be recognized with special prizes - use your prize funds to celebrate together as a team post-walk! More importantly, your participation will help inspire the families and individuals we serve.
- Top Fundraising Individual (Clinic or Lab) – $250 and a commemorative plaque
- Top Fundraising Clinic – $500 and a commemorative plaque
- Top Fundraising Research Lab – $500 and a commemorative plaque
- Next Top Four Fundraising Clinic or Lab (mixed) – $500 and a certificate of appreciation
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this competition, the team captain must be a legal resident of Canada who is over the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.
You must also be registered for the Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History with a team fundraising page. If your team is not registered yet, please visit www.walk.cysticfibrosis.ca/register.

*No purchase necessary. A team page is required for all prizing eligibility. Open to age of majority residents of Canada. This is an online contest only. Starts February 27, 2026 at 12:01 am AST and ends June 12, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Full rules and entry details below. 7 prizes available (ARV: $3,250 CAD). Odds depend on number of eligible entries. Skill-testing question required.
